Highland Cabaret
To enhance any event, the ‘Highland Cabaret’ brings together all aspects of ‘The International Highlanders’ network with show or mini Tattoo incorporating Pipes and Drums, Highland Dancers and a Celtic Rock band. Our network of Highland Dancers are amongst the best in the World. Together with the Pipes and Drums and the Band, they will demonstrate ‘The Highland Fling’ ‘The Argyll Broadswords’ to name but a few. If audience participation is desired, then no better way to get people involved than to have our caller and dancers take your guests through ‘The Dashing White Sergeant’ or ‘ Strip the Willow’. This really is most successful and gives everybody a really great experience.
TV, Film and Ceremonial
Through the years, our Pipers and Pipe Bands have been called to a variety of TV, Film and Ceremonial performances including; Golf’s Ryder Cup opening and closing ceremonies at The Belfry, England; The Royal Suffolk Show; The Palace of Verdailles, France; The Millenium Dome for the Millennium celebrations on December 31,1999; Queen Elizabeth’s ‘ olden Jubilee Royal Gala evening at Windsor Castle’, entertainment for passengers on the QE2; the ‘Day of the Dead’ ceremony in Valencia; many tours as ‘’Ships Piper’’ on various Cruise Lines including Cunard, Royal Caribbean and Thomson’s, and appearances on ITV’s ’The Voice’, BBC’s ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ and at The 2012 Olympics.
Funerals and Remembrance
Our Pipers and occasionally Pipe Bands are called upon to play at Funerals, Memorials and Remembrances. Our Pipers are all very experienced at adapting to any service requirements with great dignity. In the past, we have also supplied Pipers to play a lament for a War Grave veteran family member at The ‘Last Post Ceremony’ under the ‘Menin Gate Memorial’ in Leper, Belgium. At this site, every evening since 1928 the ‘Last Post’ (and/or a Pipers Lament) has been played at 20:00hrs sharp.
